In every large treatment center in Germany, children and teenagers dealing with frequent and regular hospital stays have the opportunity to keep up with their school curriculum at an an age- and level-appropriate learning environment and/or private tutoring sessions. After the completion of treatment, patients usually receive support from the psychosocial team for successful reintegration in their school.
