The I-HIT-MED Registry collects clinical information of children and adults with an initial diagnosis or relapse of medulloblastoma, ependymal, pineal, and choroid plexus tumours in Germany and other countries that fulfil national ethic requirements for participation in this registry. These tumours are rare diseases and for many patients, clinical trials are unavailable at the time of their diagnosis. Therefore, these patients are treated according to established standard of care protocols. The I-HIT-MED Registry collects clinical and biological data from those patients as well as long-term outcome data.

Inclusion Criteria
  • Children and adults with histologically proven: Medulloblastoma (all subtypes), Ependymal tumours (all subtypes), Pineal tumours (all subtypes), patients with choroid plexus tumours according to the revised 5ᵗʰ edition of the WHO-classifications, 2021
  • first diagnosis after 01.01.2012
  • all clinical stages
  • any localization of the primary tumour or not known primary localization
  • Consent to share biological materials not used during routine diagnostics
  • Consent to participate in biological accompanying studies
  • Consent to additional biological investigations
Exclusion Criteria
  • Lack of valid ethical committee approval
  • Treatment in a centre or region where provision of biological material and / or its data is impossible
